About the Role
We are seeking a Data Business Analyst to facilitate successful data analysis and migration projects by collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure accurate mapping, validation, and post-migration testing of data between source and target systems.
Main Responsibilities
- Support server, infrastructure, or application migrations.
- Conduct file discovery, inventory, and mapping across source and target servers.
- Identify file ownership, dependencies, access requirements, and downstream impacts.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and technical SMEs.
- Create current-state and target-state mappings.
- Perform data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
- Utilize strong Excel skills for data handling and reporting.
- Define the migration testing approach, including test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Carry out pre- and post-migration testing for file-count, structure, permissions, and integrity checks.
- Track and resolve defects identified during migration processes.
- Manage migration planning, readiness, and post-migration validation.
- Ensure strong documentation, governance, and audit-trail adherence.
- Engage in confident stakeholder management to clarify accountability.
- Manage large volumes of detailed information across multiple applications and servers.
- Utilize familiarity with Windows/Linux servers and file permissions.

Key Requirements
- Strong core BA and data-analysis skills.
- Experience with server, infrastructure, or application migrations.
- Ability to identify file ownership and downstream impacts.
- Experience with data profiling, validation, and reconciliation.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent documentation and governance skills.
