About The Opportunity

We are looking to build our database of talented Data Business Analysts who can bridge the gap between technical data capabilities and business needs. What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Gathering and documenting data requirements from business stakeholders across multiple teams and functions
  • Collaborating with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure data pipelines align with business objectives
  • Conducting data quality analysis and identifying opportunities to improve data integrity and usability
  • Translating business questions into technical requirements and data models
  • Supporting the design and validation of data structures, schemas and integration patterns
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand data pain points and recommend solutions
  • Documenting requirements using industry-standard formats such as BPMN and UML

What You Could Bring

Most roles of this type require the following:

  • Proven experience in data requirements gathering and business analysis within data or analytics functions
  • Working knowledge of data pipeline architecture, data quality frameworks and stakeholder engagement in data-driven environments
  • Familiarity with data platforms and tools such as Azure, AWS, or GCP; SQL and relational databases
  • Understanding of modern data practices including microservices, APIs and distributed systems concepts
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate between technical and business perspectives
  • Comfortable working in a contract environment with defined project scope

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Exposure to tools such as Power BI, Terraform, or CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of SAP environments (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE) or enterprise data systems
  • Certifications in data analysis, quality assurance or business analysis
  • Experience with Linux, Windows or containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
