Job Description Summary
Are you passionate about transforming business questions into meaningful insights that drive better decisions? At Novartis, we are seeking a Data Business Translation & Reporting Manager to act as the critical link between business stakeholders and analytics teams. In this role, you will ensure that reporting and analytics solutions are clearly defined, aligned to business needs, and delivered in a way that creates measurable impact. You will partner across Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Value & Access functions to translate complex business requirements into actionable analytics products that support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Value & Access stakeholders to understand, structure, and prioritize key business questions.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable analytics, reporting, dashboard, and data requirements aligned with agreed KPIs and metrics.
- Serve as the bridge between business teams and analytics delivery teams, ensuring common understanding and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Document business requirements, assumptions, KPI definitions, and intended use of analytics outputs.
- Support demand intake processes, identifying overlaps, ambiguities, and opportunities for standardization.
- Ensure analytics solutions address the original business challenge and support decision-making effectively.
- Establish and maintain reporting cadences where recurring insights are required.
- Validate business understanding of performance metrics, data definitions, and reporting limitations.
- Gather and consolidate stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the usability, relevance, and adoption of analytics solutions.
- Operate in compliance with Novartis governance, data standards, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or another technical discipline.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, analytics enablement, consulting, reporting, or a related field.
- Strong ability to translate complex business questions into structured analytics and reporting requirements.
- Solid understanding of performance measurement, KPIs, data reporting, and analytics concepts.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Strong documentation, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and operating within regulated environments.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and functions.
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and change while maintaining focus on outcomes.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics, integrity, and the Novartis Values & Behaviors.
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or commercial analytics environment.
- Exposure to data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics platforms.

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role: 47,740.00 - 68,200.00 - 88,660.00 GBP Annual
The base salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters.
