Overview
Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Construction Quality Project Manager. In this role, you will lead Microsoft’s quality oversight across large-scale construction projects, ensuring delivery aligns with Microsoft standards, project requirements, and local regulations. You will proactively identify and manage quality risks, defects, and corrective actions while partnering with contractors and cross-functional stakeholders to drive accountability, visibility, and successful project outcomes. Through effective governance, reporting, and field engagement, you will help ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality standards from construction through handover.
CO+I is the team behind one of the world’s largest Cloud Infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft’s “Cloud First” mission. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide, and we are looking for passionate, high energy program managers to help achieve that mission.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. Responsibilities
- Safety, Quality, and Compliance Oversight
Support a safety-first delivery culture by ensuring Microsoft quality oversight is aligned with site safety controls, permit requirements, energy isolation expectations, workface conditions, and applicable local regulations. The GC remains accountable for safe and compliant delivery, but the Quality Manager must escalate unsafe or uncontrolled conditions, challenge poor workface behaviours, and ensure quality activities do not proceed where the work environment is not suitably controlled.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
