Role: Data Center Technical Operations Engineer
Location
London, UK (LHR16)
Duration
12 months with potential conversion into permanent.

Job Description
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) background.
- Previous data centre experience highly preferred.
- Candidates from other critical environments (oil & gas, power generation, industrial facilities, etc.) will also be considered.
- Electrical bias is preferred, with a good understanding of mechanical systems.

Candidates should ideally have experience with:
- Medium Voltage (MV) systems
- High Voltage / Electrical distribution
- Arc Flash awareness
- UPS systems
- Generators
- ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches)
- Switchgear and electrical line-ups
- Critical facility infrastructure
- Data centre operations and maintenance

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Hands-on role, not office-based.
- Supporting day-to-day operational activities in the data centre.
- Assisting with equipment installations.
- Supporting rack deployments.
- Assisting with generator operations and maintenance activities.
- General technical support and site-based engineering tasks.
- Working under the guidance of Blue Badge engineers.
