Data Center Project Manager

Location: London (Hybrid with regular site visits)

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading organization operating within the mission-critical infrastructure sector and is continuing to expand its data center project delivery team across the UK. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, we are seeking an experienced Data Center Project Manager to support the delivery of large-scale data center projects from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing business delivering technically complex, high-value projects across one of the world's fastest-growing sectors.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple work-streams across the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements. You will work closely with engineering, construction, commercial, procurement, commissioning, and client teams while maintaining oversight of project schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the delivery of data center construction projects from inception through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project programs, schedules, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, and commissioning activities.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Review project documentation, technical drawings, and design changes.
  • Support procurement activities, including contractor selection and package management.
  • Oversee change management processes and manage variations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.
  • Ensure contractual obligations and project deliverables are achieved.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
