Data Centre Strategic Account Manager – UK Security

In line with the EMEA data centre strategy, you will develop and grow relationships with consulting engineers, design-build contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation operators to drive opportunities across the region. Leveraging Johnson Controls’ broad portfolio of building technologies and solutions, you will increase account penetration, influence specifications, and position JCI as the preferred partner.

A proactive sales hunter, you will build trusted customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. You will work closely with a regional data centre team and local teams across Europe to maximize pipeline, order intake, and customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, hyperscalers, and colocation operators.
  • Create and execute account plans to grow market share and pipeline within assigned accounts.
  • Conduct customer presentations and position yourself as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and regional teams to support project pursuits and successful delivery.
  • Utilize Salesforce, Altify, and other sales tools to manage pipeline, account plans, and customer engagement.
  • Provide market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitive insights to management.
  • Support pre-bid, bid, and post-bid activities and maintain regular customer engagement through business reviews and innovation sessions.
  • Drive adoption of JCI’s full portfolio of building solutions, including building automation, energy management, fire and life safety, security, digital services, and smart building technologies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
