About Deployed
Deployed is an invitation-only private markets infrastructure created by industry veterans to accelerate liquidity, fundraising and capital deployment.
Deployed is a discreet, high-trust environment where institutional investors access relevant opportunities and credible sponsors connect with capital that has real mandate and capacity. Its network is seeded by Founding Members from leading global capital allocators and deal sponsors and supported by proprietary market and relationship intelligence.
Deployed operates on an 80/20 principle, prioritising institutional quality, relevance and capital capacity over volume, with participation by invitation or approval only.
Through Deployed Capital Rooms, the platform extends into closed-door institutional sessions designed to reduce noise, build conviction and advance capital decisions.
Role
The Data Centers Market Lead will own and develop Deployed’s coverage of the data center and digital infrastructure market.

- Mapping key market participants, capital flows, transactions and investment themes.
- Helping shape new data, intelligence and workflow products for the data center market.
- Curating high-quality investors, sponsors and market participants for Data Center Capital Rooms.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why This Role
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a market vertical at an early-stage private markets company and help build it from the ground up.
You will work directly with Deployed’s leadership and develop relationships across some of the most active investors, operators, developers, lenders and advisers in the data center market.
The role offers:
- Real ownership — shape Deployed’s data center strategy, network, intelligence and commercial activity.
- Exceptional market exposure — build relationships across the institutional capital and data center ecosystem.
- Direct access to decision-makers — work with senior investors, sponsors and industry leaders rather than operating several layers removed.
- A front-row seat in a rapidly evolving sector — develop a deep understanding of capital flows, transactions, investment themes and emerging opportunities.
- The opportunity to build — contribute not only to relationships and transactions, but also to new intelligence products, Capital Rooms and the broader development of Deployed.
- Meaningful progression — as the vertical grows, the scope and seniority of the role can grow with it.
