Data Centre Business Development Director
Location: London / Hybrid
Travel: International travel as required

A rapidly growing international development and investment platform is building a digital infrastructure business focused on the intersection of energy and data centres.
The business is looking for an experienced Data Centre Business Development Director to bring genuine operator-side insight, industry relationships, and commercial expertise into the team.
The Role
You will work closely with development, investment, and technical teams to help shape and commercialise an international pipeline of data centre opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
- Building relationships with data centre operators, colocation providers, hyperscalers, and cloud providers
- Bringing operator and customer requirements into the development of new sites
- Identifying and originating strategic partnerships
- Supporting the commercialisation of projects across power, land, connectivity, technical requirements, and development timelines
- Supporting negotiations with prospective operators, partners, and customers
- Providing market intelligence on operator expansion plans, capacity requirements, and priority markets
The Candidate
You should have:
- 5+ years’ experience within data centres or digital infrastructure
- Experience working for a data centre operator, colocation provider, hyperscaler, cloud provider, or closely related business
- Strong understanding of how data centre projects are developed and commercialised
- Existing relationships across the data centre operator and/or customer market
- Strong commercial and relationship-building skills
- An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach
- An international mindset and willingness to travel
