Kingspan Light, Air & Water is seeking a talented Data Centre Product Design Engineer to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing innovative products and technical solutions that support the future of global data centre infrastructure.
Working alongside key customers and internal teams, you will help design and optimise industry-leading products that deliver exceptional performance, reliability, sustainability, and value.
What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and improving data centre product designs and technical specifications.
- Supporting customers with technical evaluations and engineering solutions.
- Creating and maintaining design standards and best practice documentation.
- Assessing emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborating with design, operations, procurement, construction, and technology teams.
- Driving continuous improvement, innovation, and product standardisation.

What We're Looking For
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Experience in product design, engineering development, or design engineering.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Dynamic individual who operates well under pressure and with tight deadlines
- Experience in detailed project management and coordination
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence.
- Clear communicator who enjoys working with diverse teams and external partners.
- Be willing to travel as and when required
- Comfortable using project management and reporting tools (Excel, MS Project, Power BI, or similar)
- Interest in data center infrastructure (power, cooling, networking)

Desirable Experience
- Data centres or mission-critical facilities.
- HVAC, cooling, ventilation, or building services.
- Manufacturing or industrial product development.
- +3 years of CAD design experience (Revit/SolidWorks/Auto CAD)#
- German, French or Nordic language skills
