Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician

6 Month Contract initially
£204.16 - £226.88 PAYE per day
On-site, 5 days per week, shift-based environment

The Opportunity

We're supporting our market leading client in the hiring of Data Centre Engineering Operations Technician to join their world-class Infrastructure Operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for electrically or mechanically qualified engineers to gain experience within one of the world's most advanced critical environments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating and maintaining critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure
  • Monitoring equipment performance and carrying out routine inspections
  • Responding to faults and supporting incident resolution
  • Supervising contractors during maintenance activities
  • Promoting a strong safety-first culture across the site

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems
  • Experience working with critical facilities, building services or industrial environments
  • Proven Data centre experience
  • Exposure to UPS, generators, switchgear, HVAC, chillers or transformers
