Data Centre Operative

Belfast

We are looking for a Data Centre operative to join our Data Centre Support team based in Belfast. Your primary role will involve providing Data Centre support for a range of internal, private, and public sector customers to help ensure services remain operational. The role will include change management, planning of hardware installations and decommissions, infrastructure monitoring, and the upkeep of various databases and toolsets.

  • You will also ensure that incidents are managed promptly within a defined process.
  • As well as dealing directly with customers, the successful candidate will also work closely with other Data Centre teams and Fujitsu Business units to pro-actively safeguard customer services, maintain Data Centre installation standards, and the upkeep of configuration management toolsets.
  • This is a site-based role requiring attendance Monday to Friday.
  • Must be willing and eligible to undergo clearance checks.

Your Transferable Skills And Experience

  • Experience within a process-driven environment.
  • Have an eye for continuous improvement to help enhance Fujitsu’s Data Centre offering.
  • Pro-active in your approach to work.
  • Understanding of a Data Centre environment.
