Data Coach / Data Trainer – Industry Data Background
Location: Remote
We are looking for experienced Data professionals from industry who are passionate about helping others become more confident and effective with data.
This could suit people working as Data / BI / Analytics Consultants, Data Analysts, Data Enablement professionals or in similar customer/stakeholder-facing data roles.
We're particularly interested in people who have applied data in real organisations – solving business problems, working with stakeholders and helping others understand how to use data to make better decisions.
The Role
As Data Coaches / Trainers, you'll help professionals and business leaders build their confidence and capability with data.
You'll use your own industry experience and real-world examples to make data practical and relevant, covering areas such as:

- Data analysis and interpretation
- Data literacy and data-driven decision making
- BI, dashboards and visualisation
- Data storytelling and communicating insights
- KPIs, trends and performance analysis
- Using data to solve commercial and operational problems
- Communicating data to non-technical stakeholders
You do NOT need to be an expert across every area.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering engaging data workshops and training sessions
- Coaching professionals on applying data within their roles
- Bringing real-world examples and industry experience into learning
- Helping non-technical audiences understand and use data confidently
- Supporting learners with genuine workplace challenges
- Making complex data concepts simple, practical and engaging

What We're Looking For
- Strong industry experience within Data / Analytics
- Experience applying data to real business problems
- Confidence working with clients, customers or senior stakeholders
- Experience presenting, facilitating, training, coaching or enabling others as part of your role
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain data simply
- Experience with tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL etc would be beneficial
- We're primarily looking for industry practitioners rather than traditional trainers.
(You DO NOT need to have worked as a Coach / Mentor / Trainer / Instructor / Teacher / Lecturer etc before)
This is a permanent position paying £60,000 - £65,000 (maybe negotiable)
