Vacancy Data Collection Officer

Salary: Circa £28,566 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week
Term: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Maidenhead - with opportunity to balance with remote working

About The Role

We are looking for a Data Collection Officer to join our Data Team, gathering, analysing and maintaining data to support Housing Solutions EDI Strategy. Alongside data collection, you will use SQL to query, validate and prepare data, helping to turn information into useful insight. You will ensure data accuracy, integrity and security while working with departments across the organisation to understand and meet their data needs. This hybrid position is offered on a 12 month fixed-term contract and requires at least two days per week in the office.

About you

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate, or someone at the start of their data career, who wants to build practical experience in a supportive Data Team. You may have a relevant degree, equivalent training or practical experience, together with an interest in collecting, compiling and analysing data. You will have an understanding of SQL, or the ability and enthusiasm to develop practical SQL skills, and be comfortable maintaining accurate records and working with databases. You will also understand the importance of data protection, quality and security.

You will bring strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills. An interest in housing, social housing and the needs of our residents would be beneficial, but we are particularly interested in your potential, curiosity and willingness to learn.

Working as part of the Data Team, you will liaise with colleagues across different departments to understand data requirements and support reliable reporting and analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
