This is a 12m secondment.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced data compliance professional to make a direct impact on the success of Specsavers' apprenticeship programmes. Joining our Apprenticeship team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring apprenticeship data is accurate, compliant and audit-ready, helping colleagues across the business access valuable development opportunities while supporting the effective use of apprenticeship funding.
You'll take ownership of apprenticeship data compliance throughout the learner journey, overseeing the accuracy and integrity of learner records, supporting monthly data returns and ensuring compliance with funding requirements. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll prepare for audits and inspections, identify risks and process improvements, and produce reporting that provides clear insight and supports informed decision-making across the programme.

Responsibilities
- Take ownership of apprenticeship data compliance throughout the learner journey
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of learner records
- Support monthly data returns
- Ensure compliance with funding requirements
- Prepare for audits and inspections
- Identify risks and process improvements
- Produce reporting that provides clear insight and supports informed decision-making
Requirements
- Experience from an apprenticeship, further education or training provider environment
- Strong understanding of ILR data specifications, apprenticeship funding rules and compliance requirements
- Highly organised, analytical and detail-focused
- Confidence to manage complex data, present findings to stakeholders and influence positive outcomes
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience using Power BI would be advantageous
