Data Compliance Officer – DSAR
£210 a day | 12-month contract
Do you have experience handling Data Subject Access Requests and reviewing sensitive information for disclosure?
We’re looking for a Data Compliance Officer to join an established team of four, helping manage a growing volume of requests from employees, solicitors and other third parties.
This is an initial 12-month contract, with potential to extend or move into a permanent position as the team grows.
The opportunity
You’ll manage requests from receipt through to completion, gathering and reviewing information, deciding what can be released and ensuring appropriate redactions are made before responses go out.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Handling DSARs, Pre-Action Protocol requests and other third-party information requests.
- Reviewing documents and employee data for disclosure.
- Redacting sensitive information and third-party personal data where required.
- Liaising with internal teams, employees and external parties.
- Keeping accurate records and delivering responses within statutory deadlines.

What you’ll bring
- Experience working with DSARs, information disclosure or sensitive personal data.
- Knowledge of GDPR and data subject access rights.
- Strong attention to detail and sound judgement around disclosure and redaction.
- Confidence communicating with stakeholders and managing competing deadlines.
- The ability to take ownership of requests while working closely with the team.
Experience in HR shared services, people data systems or Adobe Acrobat would be an advantage.
