Why Walr?
Walr is the service-first data collection company built for the fast and the ambitious. Founded in 2020, we exist to elevate the role of the market researcher - not by adding more tools to juggle, but by removing the operational heavy lifting so teams can focus on what truly matters: insight, impact, and confidence. What sets Walr apart is relentless speed, obsessive service, and dedicated experts who show up every day for our clients and each other.
We’re a high-growth scale-up with 170+ employees across 9 countries, having doubled our headcount in 2025. At Walr, we’re redefining data collection through unmatched speed, obsessive service, and human expertise that others simply can’t match. Technology powers our momentum, but people make the difference. Here, you’ll be trusted to take ownership, encouraged to think boldly, and backed by a team that moves fast—together. If you want impact, growth, and the chance to build something that truly matters, Walr is the place to be.
About The Role:
Walr is looking for Manager and Director-level Data Consultants to support the exponential growth of the Walr business through delivering projects profitably whilst delighting clients. This role entails consulting with clients and coordinating cross-functional teams of survey programmers, sample-only project managers, and data processors to deliver high-quality data. This role is ideal for someone who has experience of the end-to-end data collection process within quantitative market research and has a desire to challenge themselves in a scale-up organization. The successful candidate will be a critical contributor to two of Walr’s key performance metrics: gross margin and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the delivery of high-quality data to our clients whilst delivering an exceptional client experience that is consultative and service-led
- Align internal teams and clients on survey design, sample plan, timelines, and deliverables, and make suggestions for improvement throughout the process
- Coordinate and oversee survey programming setup, working with internal programmers to ensure the survey is fit-for-purpose, on time, and error-free
- Coordinate and oversee sampling and data collection, working with the sampling team to monitor quotas, adjust field strategy, and ensure timelines are met
- Coordinate and oversee data processing to ensure final data deliverables are on time, error-free, and meet client specifications
- Proactively manage clients and client communication. Provide regular updates, anticipate needs, advise on trade-offs, and escalate appropriately to protect client relationships and outcomes
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of the Walr proposition to give clients confidence, and contribute to the growth of key client accounts through delivering a high-quality, professional service
- Make the most of Walr’s technology, audiences, and team of experts to meet client needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying ways to improve any element of the end-to-end data collection process. Act as the voice of the customer to provide product and technology teams with feedback
- Lead by example in all areas of the role, and support and coach junior members of the team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
