Data Consultant

London - hybrid 1-2x per week in office Up to £50,000

Looking for a role that combines hands-on analytics with client-facing consulting? This is an opportunity to join a growing analytics consultancy where you'll work across a wide variety of projects, helping businesses use data to improve performance, understand customers, and make better commercial decisions. You'll initially focus on paid media analytics while gaining exposure to broader consulting work across multiple industries.

The Role

As a Data Consultant, you will support clients with analytics, reporting, and insight generation, helping them understand performance and make data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining dashboards in Looker Studio and other reporting tools.
  • Analysing paid media and campaign performance data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Using SQL and Python to extract, transform, and analyse data.
  • Delivering actionable insights and recommendations to client stakeholders.
  • Supporting projects across customer analytics, digital analytics, promotions, testing, and business performance.
  • Working with GA4, tracking implementations, and data quality initiatives.
  • Exploring opportunities to improve reporting and efficiency through automation and AI tools.
  • Contributing to broader consulting engagements and helping clients solve complex business problems.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience within marketing analytics, media analytics, or a related consulting environment.
  • Experience analysing paid media performance across digital marketing channels.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience using Python or R for analysis and automation.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports, particularly in Looker Studio.
  • Familiarity with GA4 and digital analytics concepts.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable managing client relationships and working independently.
  • A consultative and commercially focused mindset with a passion for turning data into business value.
