About us

auticon is an IT Consultancy and Social Enterprise whose mission is to address the inequalities in employment for neurodivergent adults. We aim to provide long-term career opportunities for autistic adults, who we employ as IT and Data Consultants. They then deliver high-quality services to our clients. If you’re not familiar with how IT Consultancies operate, read more on our blog.

Registering your interest and how we recruit

We always want to hear from autistic people with strong tech and data skills who would like to join us.

We recruit new Consultants based on available project opportunities, aligning our hiring needs with client demand. As a result, we encourage interested candidates to register their interest and complete a few initial questions to determine whether they meet our general criteria.

Registering your interest is not an application for a specific role; instead, it allows you to share your CV and become part of our talent pool. Once in the talent pool, we continually review your skillset against client opportunities and initiate our recruitment process when a suitable position becomes available. Find out more about our recruitment process on our website: auticon - Careers UK.

Because our hiring is demand-driven, timelines are variable depending on client needs. During your time in the talent pool, we encourage you subscribe to our quarterly Careers Newsletter and share any updates with us.

What to expect as an auticon Consultant

As an auticon Consultant, you become a permanent employee of auticon, but most of your day-to-day work will be with one of our clients. You’ll add skills and expertise to the client’s team or project.

Most of our clients are large multinational organisations who require expertise in areas such as:

  • Data analysis
  • Data visualisation
  • Data engineering
  • Cyber security
  • Machine learning or AI

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
