READY TO DO WORK YOUR PROUD OF?

Charlie Oscar isn't a typical agency. We're independent, AI-native, and built to help ambitious brands outmanoeuvre, outpace and outgrow the competition.

We blend data science with creativity - not because it's fashionable, but because it's how brands actually grow. The numbers give us clarity. The creative work is what wins hearts, builds brands, and drives revenue.

Every week here looks different: sharp strategic problems, high-calibre teammates, and real ownership over work that reaches some of the world's most ambitious brands. Outside the day job, there's run club, book and chess clubs, charity fundraisers, Thursday drinks, and enough team socials that work never feels like just work.

We hire for attitude and culture add first - not just experience. Curious, ambitious people who challenge how things are done, bring fresh ideas, and help shape the future of marketing.

Sound like your kind of place?

WHO WE HIRE

We look for attitude first. Smart, humble, proactive, genuinely curious - that's the shortlist. People who care about their craft without taking themselves too seriously. We build brave ideas, keep learning constant, and make sure everyone's voice counts.

If you're already using AI to work smarter, even better.

AI

We're looking for people who use AI to sharpen their work - not replace their thinking.

You don't need to be an AI specialist. You need to be curious enough to already be finding ways to use it: faster workflows, sharper insight, better creative options, smarter decisions. We want people who ask “how can this be better?” and treat AI as a tool to elevate the craft, not a shortcut around it.

THE ROLE

As a Data Consultant at CO, you'll turn our analysis into clear recommendations that clients and our own teams can act on. Most of that work runs through COmpass, our marketing mix model. You'll build the models, interpret them and explain what they mean for the client's budget.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You'll face different problems every week, so you'll need to think on your feet. You'll build technical solutions using technical toolkits (Python, GCP etc.) that fix the client's problem now, and when one of your fixes could work across other accounts, you'll help turn it into something the whole business uses.

WHAT YOU'LL BE GETTING STUCK INTO

  • Own COmpass projects from start to finish across multiple client accounts. You'll build each model, interpret what it says and present it to the people who control the budget.
  • Lead the data relationship with your clients, who'll come to you with their measurement questions.
  • Turn model outputs into recommendations on where clients should spend and how far each channel can scale.
  • Build adhoc analysis using preferred technical toolkits when clients need answers the model can't give.
  • Advise clients on MMM, attribution and testing, including where each one falls short, and scope their requests into work the team can deliver.
  • Mentor more junior analysts on technical craft and client handling, and review their work before it goes out.
  • Shape how the team works. Find the manual processes AI could take over, then build and roll out the fixes.
  • Spot growth opportunities in your accounts, and bring your technical expertise to new business pitches.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Must-haves

  • You solve problems on your own. When a model misbehaves or a client asks something new, you work out a way forward based on an outcome first mindset.
  • You think logically. You can break a messy question into steps and explain how you got to your answer.
  • You understand the client's strategy. You know how your analysis feeds into their budget and growth plans, and you shape your findings to fit.
  • You adjust how you explain things to your audience. You can go deep on the technical detail with an analyst, then give a CMO the three numbers that matter.
  • You want to get better. You ask for feedback, act on it, and tell us what we could do better once you've settled in.
