The Position
As a Data Consultant operating at managing-consultant level, you are a trusted strategic advisor to senior business leaders. You frame complex business problems, define high-impact data and AI strategies, and act as the primary engine for executing our data and digitalisation roadmap. You turn data into a practical competitive advantage.
Reporting to the Head of Data, Digitalisation and AI, you will lead high-profile, complex internal consulting engagements and shape strategic direction for key business areas. You will work with executive stakeholders and cross-functional delivery squads as an expert translator, portfolio manager and champion for data-led innovation, driving a cultural shift toward data literacy and advanced analytics.
The Opportunity:
- Your focus is to turn ambiguous business challenges into data initiatives that measurably improve performance.
- You act as principal data advisor to senior stakeholders, diagnosing challenges and scoping large-scale data, AI and digital initiatives.
- You define the data and digital strategy for specific business units and maintain a prioritised roadmap.
- You provide broad leadership to squads of engineers, scientists and analysts.
- You translate ambiguous business needs into clear technical specifications and business cases.
- You oversee request intake and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with strategic and commercial objectives.
- You champion data quality and governance and drive change that boosts data literacy across the organisation.

Who you are:
- You bring substantial professional experience, with a significant portion in management consulting, technical advisory or strategic data leadership.
- You have worked in and led cross-functional, matrixed environments.
- You combine deep technical fluency in data frameworks with mastery of the consulting toolkit.
- You structure problems, storyboard and communicate with executive audiences.
- You work independently in ambiguity and define structure where none exists.
Preferred:
- A degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science or Engineering.
- Experience linking technical initiatives to financial and patient outcomes in healthcare or life sciences.
