£275-£300 per day (Outside IR35) 3-Month Initial Contract Hybrid | London (1-2 days per week preferred)
THE COMPANY
We're working with a leading data and analytics consultancy that helps organisations unlock value from their marketing, media and customer data. They are looking for a Data Analyst to join on an initial 3-month contract, supporting both a key education sector client and a broader portfolio of analytics projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across varied datasets, stakeholders and business challenges within a client-facing consultancy environment.
THE ROLE
The successful candidate will split their time between a flagship education client and a range of other consulting engagements across the business.
Around 50% of your time will be dedicated to owning reporting and analysis for the education client, acting as the primary day-to-day analytics contact. The remaining 50% will involve supporting a variety of ad hoc reporting and analytics projects across multiple clients and products.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
