Are you ready to make a difference? Join Boots as a Data Conversion, Migration & Org Hierarchy Analyst in Nottingham, where your expertise will help shape the future of our HR data landscape. In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic HR team dedicated to delivering care, confidence, and connection across our communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key player in our HR team, you will:

  • Support the design and delivery of data conversion and migration activities across organisational hierarchy, position management, and related HR data domains.
  • Analyse current-state data structures and assist in mapping data from legacy systems into our future-state platform.
  • Lead and support data cleansing activities, enhancing data quality, completeness, and consistency to ensure migration readiness.
  • Help create and maintain organisational hierarchies, position structures, and associated governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Systems Integrators, IT teams, and third-party partners to support migration, configuration, and deployment activities.
  • Contribute to configuration and system build activities, ensuring data requirements are considered throughout implementation.
  • Participate in testing activities, supporting data validation, defect resolution, and business readiness activities.
  • Produce and maintain documentation relating to data mapping, migration activities, organisational structures, and business processes.

What You’ll Need To Have (our Must-haves)

  • Proven experience in data conversion and migration within an HR context.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data quality and governance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with data mapping and documentation processes.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience with HR systems and data management tools.
  • Knowledge of organisational design principles.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies and data validation processes.
