Location: Central London, hybrid (2 days per week in office)

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

Contract: Temporary, 4 months

Pay: £16.99 per hour (+ holiday pay) (circa £31,100 salaried equivalent)

Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a leading London university in the search for a temporary Data Coordinator to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data professional to utilise and refine their skills in an impactful organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management, maintenance, and integrity of fundraising and stakeholder data, ensuring accurate and reliable information is available to support the organisation's strategic objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update constituent and fundraising records.
  • Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
  • Process data imports, exports, and routine record updates.
  • Support fundraising, alumni, and stakeholder engagement activities through accurate data management.
  • Assist with the production of reports, lists, and data insights.
  • Support compliance with data protection and data governance requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies and queries.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Advancement team to support operational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within the higher education or wider not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong IT skills, including confidence with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to managing a varied workload, with the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
