Job Description
We are seeking an experienced data professional to join our ERP Project Team as a Data Coordinator. This fixed-term contract role is based at our Birmingham Head Office, with potential travel to UK sites. The successful candidate will work closely with various business functions, including Sales, Finance, and HR, to ensure accurate and consistent data migration into our new ERP system. They will be responsible for data cleansing, validation, and maintaining data quality standards, as well as supporting testing and user acceptance activities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate data collection and cleansing activities across multiple business functions.
- Support data migration by preparing and validating data for the new ERP system.
- Review and maintain master data, identifying and resolving inaccuracies and inconsistencies.
- Assist with data mapping and ensure compliance with ERP data governance principles.
- Produce regular project reports on data quality and outstanding actions.
- Provide guidance and support to departmental users on data requirements.
- Collaborate with project team members and external consultants to meet project milestones.
- Develop and maintain data standards and procedures, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Support user acceptance testing by managing test data and identifying errors.
- Escalate data-related risks and issues to the ERP Project Manager and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Previous experience in data coordination, ERP, or project support roles is essential.
- Strong data management and cleansing skills, with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Attention to detail and a proven track record of maintaining data accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, able to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience working with large data volumes across multiple systems.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and investigate discrepancies.
- Strong communication skills and experience in stakeholder management.
- Confidence in challenging data quality issues and driving resolutions.
- Understanding of data governance, GDPR, and data security requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
