Data Visualisation Designer
📍 Hybrid, Central London (3 days in office) 💰 Negotiable, 5 - 8 years experience
I'm partnering with a specialist strategy and marketing consultancy that works with some of the world's most recognised luxury and premium brands. Due to continued growth, they're looking to hire an experienced Data Visualisation Designer to join their team in London.
This is a genuinely unique opportunity for someone who loves transforming complex data into compelling visual stories. You'll work closely with strategists, analysts and senior stakeholders, creating high-impact visualisations that influence decision-making at board level.
This is not a dashboard or reporting role.
We're looking for someone with strong editorial judgement who can interrogate data, identify the narrative, and communicate insights through beautifully crafted static and motion-based visuals.

Responsibilities
- Transform complex datasets into engaging visual stories
- Create presentation-ready charts, reports and graphics for senior audiences
- Produce short-form animated visualisations and motion graphics
- Collaborate with strategy, insight and client teams
- Challenge assumptions and ensure data supports the narrative
- Develop scalable visualisation standards and design systems
- Utilise AI tools to improve research, analysis and creative workflows
Requirements
- 8+ years' experience in Data Visualisation, Information Design or Visual Journalism
- Strong portfolio showcasing data-led storytelling
- Experience working with and interpreting datasets independently
- Advanced PowerPoint and/or Keynote skills
- Proficiency in Figma, Illustrator or similar design tools
- Motion design experience using After Effects or equivalent
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience utilising AI tools within design or analysis workflows
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
