We are pleased to offer a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join WWL’s Data Analytics and Assurance Directorate on a 3 year Degree Apprenticeship programme while developing real-world experience in the workplace.

This vacancy is open to all internal and external candidates. NHS Employees should ideally secure their manager’s agreement for a secondment arrangement ideally prior to applying, as this will be a condition of any offer made.
This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis for 3 years as it is funded on a non-recurrent basis. Whilst this post is advertised on a fixed term / secondment basis there is the potential that this post may become permanent in the future.

Please Note: This role is PENDING AFC SALARY BANDING APPROVAL; therefore, salary cannot be fully confirmed until the Banding is approved.
Role Responsibilities
- Undertake the full degree apprenticeship programme, including university attendance, independent study, portfolio development, workplace assessment and end-point assessment where applicable.
- Apply learning from the academic programme to workplace activities, service improvement tasks and day-to-day operational delivery.
- Support the collection, validation, cleansing, analysis and presentation of data to inform operational, clinical, corporate and improvement priorities.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, data products and digital tools, using approved systems and under appropriate supervision.
- Work with colleagues to understand user needs, translate requirements into clear outputs and present information in accessible formats for a range of audiences.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to safe, responsive and person-centred services.
- Support the review and improvement of local processes, pathways, systems and ways of working, contributing ideas and evidence from apprenticeship learning.
