About Our Team

At LexisNexis Intellectual Property Solutions, our mission is to bring clarity to innovation by delivering better outcomes to the innovation community. Each and every day, the work our team does supports the development of new technologies and processes that ultimately advance humanity. Helping our customers reach their goals is our primary focus. We enable innovators to accomplish more by helping them make informed decisions, be more productive, comply with regulations, and ultimately achieve superior results. Our overall success is measured by how well we deliver these results. We are proud to directly support and serve these innovators in their endeavors to better humankind.

About The Role

As a Senior Data Discovery and Enrichment (DDE) Expert III, you will independently lead complex data discovery and enrichment projects and are recognized as a leader in your domain. You will define and implement the methodologies, best practices, and governance that underpin LexisNexis IP Solutions' SEP content expansion, and apply your proven AI experience to guide the development of agentic capabilities across our IPlytics and Protégé platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary driver of Data Discovery and Enrichment projects and results for SEP and standards-related content, in direct support of LNIP's SEP content expansion
  • Define and maintain the quality evaluation standard for SEP question classes — essentiality assessment, royalty range analysis, FRAND exposure, and SEP portfolio intelligence — against which all AI model outputs are measured
  • Author acceptance criteria for new AI capabilities before engineering begins; participate in sprint planning as a named quality authority
  • Build and maintain the curated evaluation question set used across all automated testing and release governance regimes
  • Calibrate automated evaluation systems by reviewing AI outputs against expert judgment and documenting overrides with traceable reasoning
  • Hold release gate authority for SEP question classes — AI updates that degrade quality below the defined bar do not proceed to production
  • Define and maintain the methodology for SEP landscape construction — including technology scoping, classification logic, and completeness criteria — and deliver bespoke landscape engagements for high-value customer projects; own the quality benchmark against which automated landscape generation will be measured as classification technology matures
  • Lead quarterly structured sessions with FRAND practitioners, licensing executives, and patent pool representatives to surface new failure modes and keep evaluation criteria aligned with practitioner expectations
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Data Science teams as a quality authority throughout the product development lifecycle

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
