Data Editor (Fixed-Term for 7 months)

HYBRID / LOCATION (1 - 2 days/week in the office)
SALARY: £32,000

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

THE is looking for a proactive Data Editor with a professional manner to support the Data Delivery Managers and the capability lead for the THE Rankings, there may be a potential to work across other projects.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the mailbox for Rankings within provided SLA, escalate cases where required to Capability lead.
  • Have a proactive approach to resolve customer's queries and complaints; determining the cause of the query/problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution via phone and email.
  • Update and maintain the data collection CRM where required with the highest level of efficiency and accuracy.
  • Responsible for assisting with the submission engagement cycle and validation process of institutions.
  • Monitoring progress and provide progress report to Data capability lead.
  • Maintain records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
  • Assist in gathering and researching data as well as validating data as required across a number of data sources.
  • Assist with portal testing for the launch of the data collection portal.
  • Assist with team training and support of team queries, as well as assisting with boosting team moral within the data collection cycle.
  • Support the Data Delivery manager with ranking with prior and post launch activities.
  • Assist with research and maintaining documentation where required.
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies.
  • Assist with general administration for data collection cycles for THE.

Person Specification

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

  • Degreed educated.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office software.
  • Experience of improving data quality and data cleansing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong administrative skills and working within a busy office environment.
  • Strong drive, self-motivated. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Working to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do what needs to be done to get the job done.
