Contract Data Engineer Opportunity
We're partnered with a technology business specialising in customer experience, AI, cybersecurity, and networking, looking for a contract Data Engineer to support its next phase of growth.
You’ll initially get involved in existing data projects, getting familiar with the platform and business before supporting an upcoming acquisition integration. From there, the focus will shift towards migrating data, bringing datasets together, and consolidating dashboards to create consistent reporting across both businesses.

It’s a hands-on role with scope across the full data journey, from ingestion and transformation through to the reporting used by operational teams and leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Databricks and SQL experience, building and maintaining reliable data pipelines.
- Hands-on dbt experience for transformation, testing, and data modelling.
- Experience migrating and integrating data from multiple systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Power BI experience, including data models and dashboard development.
- Confidence working with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and align business definitions.
- Fivetran experience would be valuable, although experience with comparable ingestion tools is also relevant.

What's on Offer:
- £500/day compensation
- Hybrid working (1 day/week in Manchester)
