DATA ENGINEER
Up to £55,000 + Benefits
London (Hybrid, 3 days per week in the office)

THE COMPANY:

The company is investing heavily in its data landscape and AI initiatives, creating an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to play a key role in modernising and expanding critical data systems.
THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of designing and building scalable SQL Server environments, developing new data ingestion processes, and supporting strategic transformation projects across the business.

Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and building SQL Server databases from scratch, including schema design, tables, views, stored procedures, and indexing.
- Developing end-to-end data ingestion workflows and ETL processes for new data sources and third-party platforms.
- Reviewing, optimising, and modernising existing SQL Server and SSIS environments.
- Building automation solutions using Python, APIs, and browser-based technologies.
- Working with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

You will bring strong capability in:
- SQL Server database architecture, schema design, and development.
- Building SQL Server environments from the ground up.
- SSIS development and optimisation.
- Azure-based integrations, migrations, and data transformation projects.
- Python automation, REST APIs, and data integration.
- Stakeholder management and communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Tableau or other data visualisation platform experience.
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
