Data Engineer | Lloyd's Broker | London/WFH | £70 - 80,000 (doe)
Our Client is a boutique Lloyd's broker, who are renowned for fostering a culture of technological advancement, collaborative growth, and industry recognition are now seeking a Data Engineer to join the team.
A pivotal role has arisen due to strategic growth initiatives focused on enhancing data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of data handling within the organisation, contributing directly to more informed decision-making and operational efficiency. Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum of four years' experience in a data engineering or related technical role.
- Proven expertise in SQL and working with both relational and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and data migration projects.
- Experience with Power BI and knowledge of containerisation tools is a plus.
- Experience working with insurance data, including bordereaux.
- Knowledge of Power Automate and AI-enabled development tools.
- Must have a background of working in the insurance industry.
