The Role

Step into a fast-paced global consultancy environment and drive cutting-edge data solutions for a tier-one UK Financial Services client. As a Data Engineer, you will hit the ground running to evolve a complex data ecosystem using advanced Databricks AI capabilities. This is a high-visibility engagement designed for a proactive go-getter ready to deliver immediate results in a rigorous, high-stakes project.

What You'll Do

  • Build and deploy robust Databricks Genie, Agents, and Apps to support advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Integrate Databricks Genie seamlessly with enterprise Data Marketplaces whilst onboarding new data sources into existing assets.
  • Leverage core Databricks AI capabilities on a daily basis to continuously monitor and measurably improve data attribution models.
  • Collaborate closely with global consultancy partners and end-client stakeholders to ensure aggressive delivery milestones are met.

What You Bring

  • Strong commercial experience as a Data Engineer, with a proven track record delivering within demanding Global System Integrator (GSI) or high-paced consultancy environments.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Databricks Analytics Engineering, specifically building Databricks Genie, Agents, and Apps.
  • Exceptional ability to thrive in aggressive, fast-paced markets and navigate rapid two-stage interview pipelines.
  • Readiness to commit to a 6-month initial contract on either an Inside IR35 day-rate or fixed-term salaried basis, attending a specified office two days a week.
