About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to join our dynamic team at Places for People. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of residential properties, ensuring that all aspects of property maintenance, tenant relations, and compliance are handled efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of property management practices, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualifications
The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field. A relevant qualification such as a property management certification, estate management diploma, or equivalent is preferred. Strong knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation, health and safety regulations, and property maintenance standards is essential. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in property management software are required. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team, along with exceptional customer service skills, will ensure success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring high standards of maintenance, safety, and tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate and oversee property repairs, inspections, and refurbishments, working closely with contractors and service providers.
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including tenancy agreements, health and safety regulations, and property standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and prepare reports on condition and required actions.
- Manage rent collection, arrears, and lease renewals, maintaining accurate records and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Assist in the development and implementation of property management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support community engagement initiatives and property improvements.
