Location: Milton Keynes, England
Model: Hybrid - 2 days remote
Key responsibilities
- Designing, maintaining, and building the medallion pipelines on a lakehouse architecture - owning the engineering behind the migration from the client's data platform onto a modern lakehouse architecture
- Collaborating with development and business teams to ensure data is available, reliable, and fit for purpose
- Building and enhancing reporting frameworks, dashboards, and analytics processes to support operational and executive teams
- Identifying trends, opportunities, and business drivers through advanced data analysis
- Supporting the development of predictive models, customer segmentation initiatives, and other data-driven projects
- Promoting data literacy across the organization by translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights
- Mentoring analysts and contributing to the growth and maturity of the analytics function

What we're looking for

- Strong Python, with hands-on PySpark for building distributed data transformations
- Solid SQL / T-SQL (MSSQL) and sound data-modelling fundamentals
- Experience designing and operating ELT / ETL pipelines, including lakehouse / medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) patterns
- Working with APIs and automated data-acquisition tooling (e.g. Mozenda) for data ingestion
- Power BI and DAX, with the ability to translate engineered data into clear reporting
- Minimum 2 years of experience in line management of a team
