A leading high-frequency trading firm, combining the agility of a startup with the stability of an established player, is seeking a dynamic software engineer for one of their most successful quantitative trading teams. This is a unique opportunity to design, write, and maintain complex Python infrastructure, working closely with traders and technologists in a front-office capacity.
The Role
- Design, write, and maintain complex Python infrastructure within a high-frequency trading environment
- Collaborate extensively with quantitative traders and other technologists
- Focus on developing robust, scalable, fault-tolerant, high-availability, high-throughput, and low-latency solutions
- Engage with cutting-edge technologies to solve difficult technical problems in a fast-paced environment
- Contribute to a team that views technology as a key component of continued success

What You'll Need
- Excellent problem-solving skills with an ability to make sound engineering decisions
- Solid knowledge of Python and Linux; C++ experience is a plus
- Self-directed and able to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Knowledge of SQL, Redis, or InfluxDB is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- An interest in sports or sports betting is advantageous
