Data Engineer – Python / SQL / Multi-Cloud (PUBLIC SECTOR)

We’re looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join a multidisciplinary technology consultancy delivering cloud-based data solutions to the Public Sector.

You must have Active SC Clearance in a current or very recently ended role, and you will be required to provide evidence of active status, obtained within the last month, from UKSV to be eligible for an Interview.

Salary: £45,000 – £65,000

Employment: Permanent

Start: ASAP – within the next 2 weeks

Level: SFIA Level 4

Location: Though predominantly remote, there may be requirement to travel fortnightly to either London or Manchester.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong commercial experience in a hands-on Data Engineering role
  • Strong Python and SQL skills
  • Experience designing and maintaining production data pipelines
  • Good understanding of ETL/ELT principles and practices
  • Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, AWS/Azure, etc.
  • Experience with data modelling and transformation
  • Strong understanding of data quality and data integrity
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking responsibility for your own delivery
  • Able to work effectively alongside other engineering and delivery disciplines
