Data Engineer

About the Role

Data Engineer required to join a long-term contract on a hybrid basis, with on-site attendance in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, offering competitive rates while helping to deliver robust and scalable data engineering solutions. Candidates must hold active SC Clearance

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and support data engineering solutions and ETL processes
  • Write and optimise SQL queries and work within Unix/Linux environments
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions
  • Support deployment and automation across the data platform

Skills & Experience

  • Active SC Clearance (essential)
  • Experience working on data engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of core data engineering concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL and Unix/Linux
  • Experience with Bash scripting is desirable
  • Familiarity with GitLab, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), Berlin Job Scheduler, and AWS is advantageous
