Data Engineer
About the Role
Data Engineer required to join a long-term contract on a hybrid basis, with on-site attendance in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile project, offering competitive rates while helping to deliver robust and scalable data engineering solutions. Candidates must hold active SC Clearance
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and support data engineering solutions and ETL processes
- Write and optimise SQL queries and work within Unix/Linux environments
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver reliable, high-quality data solutions
- Support deployment and automation across the data platform

Skills & Experience
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- Experience working on data engineering projects
- Strong understanding of core data engineering concepts
- Proficiency in SQL and Unix/Linux
- Experience with Bash scripting is desirable
- Familiarity with GitLab, Pentaho Data Integration (PDI), Berlin Job Scheduler, and AWS is advantageous

Open to candidates based in Shrewsbury, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Bridgnorth, Birmingham and surrounding areas
