Senior Data Engineer
A leading organisation in the financial services space is looking for a Senior Data Engineer. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team embarking on a major enterprise-wide data platform transformation, playing a pivotal role in designing and building a centralised environment for reporting and analytics.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Python and SQL within Databricks environments.
- Develop, optimise, and support enterprise data platform solutions and lakehouse architectures.
- Build and manage complex data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes.
- Implement business logic, calculations, and data processing solutions while ensuring data governance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver high-quality data assets.

What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience in Python development and SQL query optimisation.
- Proven track record in designing and building enterprise-scale data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and a strong understanding of data lake architectures.
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver end-to-end data solutions in a large-scale environment.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience with modern data engineering practices.
