Data Engineer | 1 Year Contract - 5 days per week onsite

A great opportunity for a hands-on Data Engineer to join a large-scale financial services data engineering function, building and optimizing ETL pipelines across Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift to support regulatory reporting and analytical use cases.
What you'll do
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot ETL pipelines across AWS Databricks, Snowflake, and Redshift
- Design scalable dimensional data models for regulatory reporting and analytics
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions
- Apply data engineering best practices including version control, testing, documentation, and governance
- Use Git/GitHub for collaborative development
- Work with configuration-driven, metadata-based approaches, including YAML-based metric standardization
- Coach and support the development of junior engineers

What you'll need

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Databricks, PySpark, Python, and SQL
- Experience with Redshift
- Comfortable working with YAML for configuration and metric standardization
