Job Description
At EDF, Success is Personal. We're looking for a Data Engineer who wants to make a real impact by delivering trusted, scalable data solutions that help colleagues make better decisions and drive meaningful business outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Data Enablement team, where you'll work with modern technologies, collaborate with stakeholders across the business and help shape the future of our enterprise data platform. As we continue working towards An Electric Britain, you'll play an important role in helping us unlock the value of data.
The Opportunity
As a Data Engineer, you'll lead the onboarding and integration of new data sources into our enterprise data platform. You'll work closely with business stakeholders, partners and technical teams to deliver robust and scalable data solutions.
While the role has a strong focus on data ingestion, you'll also contribute to data transformation, modelling and data warehousing activities. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we work, improve our delivery approaches and explore the use of automation and AI technologies.
This is a full-time, permanent role and can be based anywhere in the UK. We support flexible ways of working and occasional travel will required for team meetings and business activities.
What You'll Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
