🚀 Data Engineer / Consultant (Mid-Level & Senior Opportunities)
📍 Remote, UK Based
💰 £55,000 - £85,000 (Dependent on Experience)
🕒 Permanent
Are you a passionate Data Engineer looking to work on enterprise-scale cloud and AI projects? We're expanding our Data & AI practice and are looking for both Mid-Level and Senior Data Engineers/Consultants to help design, build and deliver modern data platforms for a diverse range of clients.
This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including Snowflake, Databricks, dbt and AWS, solving complex data challenges while collaborating with highly skilled architects, engineers and client stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
- ✅ Designing and building scalable cloud-native data platforms
- ✅ Developing and optimising ETL/ELT pipelines using dbt, Snowflake and/or Databricks
- ✅ Building modern data lake solutions on AWS
- ✅ Creating scalable data models that drive analytics and business insights
- ✅ Developing production-grade data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Step Functions and MWAA
- ✅ Delivering dashboards and reporting solutions using Databricks Dashboards, Snowsight or QuickSight
- ✅ Working directly with clients to solve real-world data challenges
- ✅ Applying software engineering best practices including testing, version control and CI/CD

What We're Looking For
We're interested in Data Engineers with 3+ years of commercial experience delivering production data solutions.
Essential Skills
- ✔ Strong experience with dbt (a key requirement)
- ✔ Strong SQL and Python skills
- ✔ Experience with Snowflake and/or Databricks
- ✔ Experience building modern ETL/ELT pipelines
- ✔ AWS experience, including cloud-native data lake architectures
- ✔ Knowledge of data modelling principles
- ✔ Experience optimising data pipelines for performance, scalability and reliability
- ✔ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
