An innovative organisation in the cyber and intelligence sector is looking for a Data Engineer
The successful candidate will join a growing team of experts focused on collecting and understanding complex data to provide digital advantages for global clients in demanding environments.
What You'll Be Doing
- Designing and developing data collection, integration, and ETL applications to support technical interfaces.
- Modelling data requirements and flows to bring structure to complex programmes of work.
- Defining data lifecycles to ensure proper control over corporate data assets.
- Utilising various products to collect, store, visualise, and govern data and metadata.
- Defining metadata standards to provide searchability and governance for unstructured data.

What We're Looking For
- Solid experience in programming languages applied within a data-focused environment.
- Proficiency with ETL tools, Python, and a variety of Big Data applications.
- Strong understanding of Open Source software and the ability to evaluate platforms against specific customer problems.
- Knowledge of database concepts including unstructured, NoSQL, and big data platforms.
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom and holding an active eDV security clearance.
