About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our innovative team at Solirius Reply. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders, to develop and maintain robust data pipelines and systems that support advanced data analysis and machine learning initiatives. Your primary responsibility will be designing scalable data architectures that enable efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage, ensuring high data quality and reliability. You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions, employing modern data engineering tools and frameworks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, leverage the latest technologies, and contribute to impactful data-driven solutions that support strategic decision-making for our clients.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data engineering, with proven experience working both independently and as part of a team. Essential qualifications include proficiency in cloud infrastructure platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, and a solid understanding of SQL and relational databases like MS SQL, Azure SQL, or PostgreSQL. Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Tornado, or Django, along with containerization tools like Docker, is highly desirable. Candidates should have hands-on experience developing ETL pipelines using tools like Luigi, Airflow, or Argo, and familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka. Knowledge of data acquisition, quality improvement, and preparing data for predictive modeling is important. Additionally, experience with reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik, and awareness of GDPR and government standards, will be advantageous. The successful applicant will be passionate, adaptable, and enthusiastic about leveraging technology to solve complex problems within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable data engineering solutions tailored to client needs and project requirements.
  • Create and optimize data models and schemas to support business analytics and operational processes.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion and processing systems utilizing various tools and technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, ETL frameworks, Luigi, Airflow, or Argo.
  • Implement and manage data storage solutions across relational, non-relational, and cloud-based databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to identify data challenges and opportunities, providing technical guidance and solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering, including modern data stacks, big data, and cloud computing.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability.
  • Support data governance and security protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR.
