This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working with modern cloud technologies and collaborating with stakeholders to turn business requirements into scalable data solutions.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, high-performing data solutions that support analytics, reporting and AI-driven insights. Working closely with Business Analysts, Architects, Power BI Developers and business stakeholders, you'll:

  • Design and develop data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure and modern data engineering tools.
  • Manage data throughout its lifecycle, from ingestion through to consumption, using a medallion architecture approach.
  • Build and optimise data models, transformations and integrations using SQL, PySpark and related technologies.
  • Monitor, maintain and improve the performance, reliability and scalability of data platforms.
  • Support CI/CD deployment practices, source control and code versioning.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring trusted and accurate business information.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Victrex's enterprise data and analytics capabilities.

What We're Looking For

We're interested in hearing from individuals who combine strong technical expertise with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.

You'll ideally have experience with:

  • Data warehousing and modern cloud data platforms
  • SQL Server, Azure SQL and advanced T-SQL development
  • Data modelling and ETL/ELT processes
  • Power BI and analytics environments
  • Python, PySpark, SparkSQL or DBT
  • CI/CD and source control practices
  • Agile delivery methodologies

Experience working within manufacturing, supply chain or ERP-driven environments would be advantageous.

Why Join Victrex?

At Victrex, you'll be part of a global organisation that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, contribute to strategic data initiatives and help shape the future of data and analytics across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
