Viva Insights Administrator & Data Engineer

๐Ÿ“ Location: London or Northampton (Hybrid)
๐Ÿ•’ Type: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

A leading global financial services organisation using data, technology and analytics to improve decision-making and organisational effectiveness across a complex enterprise environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Administer and manage the Microsoft Viva Insights data environment
  • Manage data cleansing, ingestion, validation and quality processes
  • Oversee data uploads, organisational hierarchy configuration and access management
  • Maintain field attributes, definitions and metadata governance
  • Design, build and optimise end-to-end data pipelines
  • Integrate data across Viva Insights, HR systems, survey platforms and other sources
  • Develop data models and transformation processes
  • Use Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
  • Implement and maintain data governance, security and access controls
  • Monitor data quality and continuously improve processes and standards
  • Work closely with Data Science, HR, Organisational Effectiveness and other business teams
  • Translate business requirements into robust, scalable data solutions
  • Support audit, risk and compliance requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders

What They're Looking For

  • Proven experience administering Microsoft Viva Insights
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and Admin Centre
  • Experience managing large and complex data environments
  • Strong data management, cleansing and governance experience
  • Experience designing and managing data pipelines and system integrations
  • Strong Python and SQL skills, ideally including Hive/Hue
  • Knowledge of data modelling and transformation techniques
  • Understanding of data security, access controls and governance
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable working in complex, global and matrixed organisations

Nice to Have

  • Experience in HR, People Analytics or organisational data
  • Experience integrating employee survey data
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot data management concepts and controls
  • Experience working with global enterprise organisations
  • Background in financial services or other highly regulated environments
