Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Data Engineer

Outside IR35 – Contract - circa £400-£450p/d

Flexible working - South West England

Summary:

I’m working with a market-leading consultancy supporting a major enterprise client, looking for a senior Power BI / Microsoft Fabric specialist.

This is a hands-on role focused on BI solution design, semantic modelling, dashboards and Microsoft Fabric, within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver scalable Power BI solutions
  • Build dashboards, reports, KPI scorecards and semantic models
  • Work across Microsoft Fabric – Lakehouse, Data Warehouse & Pipelines
  • Integrate Power BI with Fabric semantic models
  • Support performance, security and BI best practices

What you'll bring:

  • Strong Power BI, DAX and SQL experience
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience
  • Strong understanding of enterprise BI architecture
  • Direct Lake / Real-Time Analytics experience is a plus
