Data Analytics Engineer (Microsoft Fabric)

We’re looking for a Data Analytics Engineer (Microsoft Fabric) to help shape and grow a modern enterprise data platform at an exciting stage of development.

This is an opportunity to join a growing Data team and play a hands-on role in developing a recently deployed Microsoft Fabric platform. You’ll work with diverse datasets spanning manufacturing operations, sustainability and energy analytics, and core enterprise business systems.

Combining data engineering, analytics and stakeholder engagement, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact while taking increasing technical ownership as the organisation’s data capabilities mature.

The Role

Working with stakeholders across UK, US and European operations, you’ll help ensure data is accessible, trusted and used effectively to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Reporting to the Global IT Manager, you’ll work across the full data lifecycle — from understanding business requirements and developing pipelines through to creating trusted data models, enabling analytics and supporting adoption across the business.

You’ll also have the opportunity to help establish the standards, governance and ways of working that will underpin the future of the data platform.

What you’ll be doing

  • Champion data innovation within a forward-thinking manufacturing environment, bringing together data from energy systems, operational technology, ERP and CRM platforms
  • Design, build and continuously improve scalable, end-to-end data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric
  • Implement and maintain medallion architecture across ingestion, transformation and presentation layers
  • Develop and optimise trusted data models and semantic layers for reporting, self-service analytics and business insight
  • Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical data solutions
  • Support analytics initiatives from discovery through to implementation and adoption
  • Help shape platform standards, governance, security and development practices
  • Maintain high standards of data quality, reliability and performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve tools, processes and ways of working
  • Continue developing your technical and professional capability as the data platform evolves

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
