Data Engineer - Data Platform Modernisation

Harnham is partnering with a major European consumer organisation on a large-scale modernisation of its data platform.

Operating across multiple markets with millions of consumers, the organisation has grown significantly over time, resulting in a complex data estate spanning different technologies, platforms and legacy environments.

They are now investing in consolidating this into a standardised, modern Snowflake-based data platform and are looking for experienced Data Engineers to help accelerate the migration.

The Role

You'll join a dedicated migration project, working alongside an established internal Data function to move legacy workloads onto the organisation's modern data stack.

This isn't simply building new Snowflake pipelines. You'll need to understand existing workloads across technologies such as Redshift, EC2, R and Python, determine how they work, and redesign them within the new architecture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
