I’m working with a leading technology and consulting organisation that is growing its Data Engineering capability across the UK, with multiple opportunities available at different levels.
This is a great opportunity for Data Engineers with active DV clearance who want to work on complex, high-impact programmes across Defence, National Security and other highly regulated environments.

The Role
You’ll be involved in designing, building and improving data platforms and pipelines that support complex client environments.
Depending on your level, this could include:
- Designing and developing production-grade data pipelines
- Working across data ingestion, transformation, processing and consumption
- Building data solutions within AWS cloud environments
- Working with data lakes, warehouses and big data architectures
- Integrating structured and unstructured data from multiple sources
- Developing ETL and data movement solutions
- Working with technologies such as Python, Java, Scala, Spark and SQL
- Using APIs and scripting to extract and transform data
- Working with AWS services including Glue, EMR, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda and DynamoDB
- Collaborating with architects, engineers and client stakeholders
- Contributing to technical decisions and wider data strategy

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working as a Data Engineer or in a closely related data role
- Strong experience developing production data pipelines
- Experience with AWS or equivalent cloud technologies
- Strong SQL and programming skills
- Python, Java, Scala and/or Spark
- Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data
- Understanding of data lakes, data warehouses and modern data architectures
- API integration and data ingestion experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Active DV clearance is essential
